Laura brings a decade of professional experience to the People Operations team. Her career began in marketing and youth programming for a fine arts non-profit in Atlanta which eventually led to her starting her own music school focused on fine arts and high-quality music education in the Washington, D.C. area, serving and training hundreds of young musicians. Passionate about education and business development, she now enjoys acting as a culture and people champion for Coursemojo by way of contributing to people-focused HR programming and initiatives. Laura is a proud member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) as well as her local HR chapter, HR Tampa. She has a Bachelors of Music from Mercer University and Masters of Music from Georgia State University. Outside of Coursemojo Laura enjoys spending time at the gym, singing and/or coaching other singers, and finding the perfect cup of coffee.
