Hope has nearly 15 years of experience in urban education. Prior to joining Coursemojo, she served as a middle school humanities teacher in Chicago, and later as a founding middle school principal and Chief Academic Officer of Alpha Public Schools in San Jose, CA. Most recently, she served as a Managing Director of Schools at Breakthrough Public Schools in Cleveland, Ohio, where she is now based. Hope holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University, a M.A. in Teaching from Dominican University, and a M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. Outside of work, she can be found embarking on new adventures with her daughter and husband.
