Emma launched her career in education as a middle school teacher in South Texas where she developed her life-long commitment to educational equity. She most recently spent over a decade at the non-profit Achievement Network (ANet) where she developed and led the programmatic work to support thousands of schools across the country realize equitable instruction through developing strong curricular, assessment and coaching tools and practices. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University. She shares her home office with her family of six, including three daughters and one rescue Lab. When not at home, she can be found at local playgrounds, libraries and theaters.
