Bret is a learner at heart and is always exploring digital innovations that support equity in language education. Bret has previously served as a district administrator for multilingual learners as well as a specialist in digital instruction for the Texas Education Agency (TEA), where he had opportunities to learn and lead in these areas. Bret also holds an M.Ed. in Digital Learning and Leading from Lamar University. Outside of his work, he is often found spending time with his family on their homestead raising chickens, tending to their garden, and looking after their wool sheep.
